The fast ground suits him and there is plenty of money on offer for this valuable £60,000 race.

ASADJUMEIRAH takes his chance in the feature Sprint Handicap at Pontefract today.

A big day for the yard with a Group 1 Royal Ascot runner in the King’s Stand Stakes at 3.40pm on Tuesday

MONDAMMEJ did us proud being placed in the Group 2 Temple Stakes last time. Still an outsider here, he should be suited by the track, fast ground and blistering pace. We’ll do our best and thoroughly enjoy the day.

Over at Thirsk, we run SPARTAN FIGHTER & MURBIH. The former can race off a 9lbs lower turf mark, following a lucrative 5 wins on the all weather over the winter.

Our next runners are at Ripon on Wednesday evening.
