SPARTAN FIGHTER made it 40 winners for the yard in 2020 when successful at Wolverhampton on Saturday. A total we are proud of.
We have a few more runners before the turn of the year so will see if we can add to the total still further.
Saturday, Sunday & Monday runners. The last before Xmas
We have our final runners before Xmas over the next 3 days.
We send 2 to Wolverhampton on Saturday, although we have not fared well with the draws with either SPARTAN FIGHTER or ANOTHER ANGEL.
Sunday sees DRAKEFELL, VAN DIJK & THAWRY return to Southwell. We have put young Laura Pearson claiming 7lbs on the enigmatic Thawry, in the hope her touch can yield more of his potential.
Monday will see TRAVELLER, TATHMEEN, LUCKY LODGE & QAARAAT head up to Newcastle. A track where they have all won and some of them numerous times.
Southwell on Thursday
We have 2 runners at Southwell on Thursday.
SLOWMO has shown a liking for the surface over the 5F trip and is going for his 3rd course and distance win.
VAN DIJK appeared to handle the surface last time and also looked worth a try at this longer trip.
We have planned runners for Saturday and Sunday
Tuesday Newcastle Action
Four runners at Newcastle on Tuesday including the promising MONDAMMEJ bidding to follow up his course and distance debut win.
We also run the prolific scorer TRAVELLER, plus INTERNATIONAL LAW & RAABEH.
Our next entries are on Thursday.
Klopp wins a strange race
KLOPP won well at Newcastle on Saturday. However, she was left out of the stalls when the starter let them go for the first time and the race was then deemed to be a false start.
Half the field including our own QAARAAT completed the course, so had to be withdrawn.
The remainder returned to the start for the race to be re-run. Klopp was soon going easily and moved clear inside the final furlong to win well. We won’t see a similar situation very often.
5 runner Saturday
We have 5 runners on Saturday spread between Newcastle and Wolverhampton.
KLOPP and QAARAAT compete in the 5.00pm sprint at Newcastle, having finished 2nd and 3rd on Monday.
THAWRY, TATHMEEN & ANOTHER ANGEL head to Wolverhampton but the draws could have been kinder, especially for the sprints.
We have 4 horses entered for Newcastle on Tuesday, so keep in touch for the details.
Friday Runners
We send two runners to Southwell on Friday including DRAKEFELL who has run 2 excellent 2nd’s at the track so far this year.
We also see the debut of our homebred gelding ROOT SIXTY SIX a son of Mozayada who won 5 times at this track for us.
We have 5 runners spread over 2 meetings on Saturday, so more news will follow.
Monday & Tuesday Action
We have 4 runners at Wolverhampton on Monday including running both QAARAAT & KLOPP in the sprint at 4.40pm.
INTERNATIONAL LAW & SPARTAN FIGHTER make up the team.
Its a double header on Tuesday. We return to Wolverhampton with ONE ONE SEVEN & UPSIDE DOWN and head back to Southwell with THAWRY & PUCHITA
We then have a break with entries until Southwell on Friday.
Slowmo course and distance double
SLOWMO returned to Southwell over the 5 furlong trip and repeated his recent course and distance win in game fashion having travelled pretty well throughout.
Winner 38 for the year for the yard.

Rest of the week
We have TATHMEEN heading to Newcastle on Friday for the 6f sprint handicap at 5.15pm.
SLOWMO and VAN DIJK are our runners at Southwell on Sunday and we then have a whole bunch of entries for Monday and Tuesday. Keep in touch.
